THE SIRE: LOUIS V LINE’S VENOM
Louis V Line’s VenomVenom is one of the Top Producing Studs in the World. He’s proven that several times over with his offspring. He has outproduced himself several times, which is the trademark of a Top Stud.. but he has been ridiculously consistent as well. Different bloodlines, Classic build females it’s doesn’t matter. He stamps his look every time.
More impressively, he has produced several ABKC Champions in the Pocket Class. So he’s not only producing “wow factor” dogs, but his kids are also killing it in the show ring. His firstborn daughter is working toward her Grand Champion Title, and currently, over 30 Venom offspring are within 30 points of Champion. The crazy part is that most of his offspring are between the age of 3 and 9 months.
Rampage is from the Venom X Moana litter. It was the 1st ever 2X Venom breeding, meaning that Rampage is the result of an inbreeding where Venom was bred to his daughter Moana. A lot of breeders will inbreed their dogs without understanding the reasoning behind it, the possible implications of it, and not knowing when to outcross.
Inbreeding has been carried out for thousands of years in order to set traits by some of the top breeders in nearly every established breed. But it is a risky proposition, and should not be attempted by the novice breeder.
